Talpa Network Transitions to Mediagenix SaaS Platform for Advanced Content Strategy and Scheduling
Brussels – November 25th, 2024 – Talpa Network, the privately-owned Dutch media conglomerate, has completed a comprehensive cloud migration to Mediagenix's SaaS platform. This marks the start of a transformative investment that introduces a myriad of innovative capabilities for the optimization of Talpa Network’s content and channel management.
Talpa Network, known for its diverse portfolio of TV channels, radio stations, digital solutions, social media platforms and magazines, is privately owned by the visionary creator John de Mol. The company optimizes the lifecycle and lifetime value of its extensive content portfolio by leveraging advanced Mediagenix software suites for content strategy, content value management and content scheduling.
The cloud migration, which began in the summer of 2023, incorporated a comprehensive review of Talpa Network’s media inventory. By moving to a Mediagenix SaaS model, Talpa Network is now poised to explore new media capabilities in stages, flexibly adopting advanced tools and responding dynamically to changing industry needs with access to continuous software upgrades and updates.
The go-live was seamlessly executed through a close collaboration between Talpa Network and Mediagenix. The successful transition marks a leap forward in the Talpa Network-Mediagenix partnership. With Mediagenix Ratings Artist already in place – an award-winning tool for predictive ratings – Talpa can now leverage even more groundbreaking solutions as they are introduced, enriching its capabilities to adapt to real-time audience insights.
Wouter Schreuder, Head of Content Operations at Talpa said: “With Mediagenix’s SaaS platform, we are not only optimizing our content and channel management but are also setting the stage for future advancements. This platform empowers us to adopt new capabilities as they are introduced, keeping us agile and responsive in a rapidly evolving media landscape”.
Ivan Verbesselt, Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer at Mediagenix added: “Our partnership with Talpa Network exemplifies the value of a SaaS-based approach in modern media management, enabling organizations to access continuous upgrades and enhance their operational agility. We are excited to support Talpa Network as they embrace new features and capabilities that align with their evolving strategy.”
As part of the project, Talpa Network has adopted Mediagenix’s cloud-based image and video content management capabilities, which provide more efficient and scalable solutions for its growing digital operations. The move also included transitioning to the frame-accurate Mediagenix Video Assistant for editorial validation, segmentation and annotation (time-coding), further enhancing its content delivery.
Talpa Network is now looking ahead to future projects with Mediagenix, including the rollout of new SaaS products that will support its strategic planning, promotion and scheduling, as well as workflow orchestration and the image and metadata flow between content production and distribution.
