Your challenge
- As the Billing and Collection Specialist, you collaborate closely with our teams to accurately and promptly structure complex projects and contracts in our reporting tool, ensuring a swift and accurate billing and revenue recognition process.
- You perform account reconciliations, investigating and resolving any discrepancies or inquiries, including validating outstanding questions for Project Managers, Account Managers and Business Development.
- You are the go-to-person for advice on efficiency gains and automation of the billing process.
- You maintain historical customer payment plans and collaborate with Sales, Operations, or Legal to resolve outstanding disputes.
- Lastly, you contact customers to collect overdue bills (credit collection is about 10% of this role
Your interest and skills
- You hold a Bachelors degree in Economics, Finance or a related field, or you can show relevant work experience for this role.
- Prioritizing tasks and working in an organized, structured way is something you’re capable of.
- You are tech-savvy and have experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Experience in an international work environment is a plus.
- You have a keen eye for detail, an analytical mindset, and can work both independently and as part of a team.
- As the Billing and Collection Specialist, you are flexible and result-driven, you thrive with a hands-on mentality.
- You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects is second nature to you.
- You are fluent in English, with proficiency in Dutch or French being a strong advantage, both spoken and written.
